Le reazioni al ritiro di Murray: Kyrgios, del Potro e tanti altri

Andy Murray ha annunciato che l’Australian Open potrebbe essere il suo ultimo torneo, e che comunque non andrà oltre Wimbledon. Una notizia scioccante e inaspettata che ovviamente ha provocato una serie di reazioni tra i colleghi, amplificate dalla popolarità di cui lo scozzese gode nel mondo del tennis. Una popolarità che dipende solo in minima parte dall’essere (stato) un grande campione, ma più in generale riflette il suo modo di essere fuori dal campo. Intelligente e acuto da un lato, nonché tra gli atleti più progressisti che lo sport moderno conosca, simpatico e capace d’intrattenere dall’altra. Difficile non aprire con il messaggio che Nick Kyrgios ha scritto su Instagram. Con Murray ha stretto un rapporto che ben presto ha travalicato i confini del tennis.
