Serena Williams donerà oltre quattro milioni di mascherine alle scuole
A poco più di un mese dalla ripresa teorica delle attività scolastiche, c’è già chi si mette avanti per permettere a più strutture possibili di essere pronte per l’eventuale ripartenza. Serena Williams, in partnership con il brand di abbigliamento Bella+Canvas e con la National School Board Association, donerà 4.25 milioni di mascherine a svariate scuole statunitensi. Il piano è anche quello di fornire materiale scolastico a 115,000 istituti sparsi per tutto il paese. Bella+Canvas donerà una mascherina per ognuna di quelle procurate dalle scuole stesse. “Sono grata di poter aiutare ad educare le nostre scuole a proposito di questa risorsa e di avere l’opportunità di aiutare così tanti studenti“, ha commentato Serena su Instagram. Through the #MasksForKids program, schools can access affordable masks and educational materials, quickly. In addition to donating 4.25 million masks, another mask will be donated for each one purchased by the schools.
